UN chief shocked at deadly Israeli attack

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan has expressed shock and dismay at Israel's deadly attack in northern Gaza. He has urged the Israeli government to CEASE its military operations in Gaza immediately. And he has also called on Palestinians to stop attacks against Israeli targets. Meanwhile, the UN Security Council has agreed to discuss a request by Arab and Muslim nations for an emergency meeting on the soaring violence in Gaza.
