Gaza: A female suicide bomber killed two

A female Palestinian suicide bomber from the armed wing of Hamas launched an attack on Israeli soldiers in northern Gaza Thursday evening. It left her dead and wounded at least two soldiers.

A video released by Hamas identified the woman as Fatima al-Nejar. She said she wanted to dedicate her death to Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails and to Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.

Palestinian security sources report that shortly before the attack, three Palestinians were killed in two separate strikes in the northern Gaza Strip. Medics say a single day of conflict has seen Israeli forces kill seven Palestinians. The number includes the Hamas suicide bomber, four militants and two civilians
