Chinese air force still practices for SCO drill

Zheng Yuanlin, commander airborne transporter unit, said, "We have practiced airdrops over and over again because this is a new environment for us. We have also practiced coordination on the ground with the Russians. The formation will consist of four Russian jets, then six Chinese jets, followed by two more Russian jets."

The airborne transporter unit has carried and dropped hundreds of personnel. Commanders say they are confident the unit's performance on Friday will be a success.
