In Nepal, 3 bombs exploded almost simultaneously in and around the capital Katmandu on Sunday. At least two people were killed in the first attack.

The most powerful bomb exploded inside a moving bus about 300 meters from the army's Katmandu headquarters in the afternoon. Two more blasts went off on the outskirts of the city, killing at least one other person.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility, but suspicion has fallen on nearly half a dozen armed groups operating in southern Nepal.
