Another must-see site is the Sun Moon Lake, the largest natural lake in Taiwan.

Most mainland visitors say they learned about Taiwan from an essay they studied in school, which was written about the lake. For many, visiting the lake was a childhood dream come true.

Tourist said, "I know the lake from the textbook and since then I wished I could visit it. I am very exciting to see it myself today. It's much more beautiful than I thought."
