Israeli fighter jets hit targets in Gaza

Israeli fighter jets have targeted a set of rocket launchers and weapons workshops in Gaza. Friday's move comes as a six-month truce draws to an end.

The shaky ceasefire between Hamas and Israel had already begun to unravel after Israel launched air strikes and a ground raid last month.

Both sides are trying to dictate new terms.

Hamas wants Israel to keep its crossings open, while Israel wants to be allowed to invade Gaza's border areas.

Hamas suggests the truce will expire on Friday.
