Iran is a leading importer of Kenyan tea, and Kenya buys Iranian industrial oils, carpets and chemicals. It's Ahmedinejad's first official visit to Kenya.
He's accompanied by a large delegation of officials and private businessmen, estimated to be more than 100 people.
