The Israelis marched on the outskirts of Umm el-Fahm, a major Arab town in the north of Israel.
One demonstrator said they wanted residents in Umm el-Fahm to show loyalty to the Jewish state.
Michael Ben Ari, Lawmaker Religious National Union Party, said, "There is a very clear saying, we are here and we will establish a follow-up committee that will implement the sovereignty and the nationality of the state of Israel as a Jewish state in Umm el-Fahm as well."
