亚洲有线及卫星电视广播协会（CASBAA）是一个行业性的宣传团体，致力于推广整个亚太地区的有线、卫星、宽带和无线视频网络的多频道电视节目传输。
亚洲有线及卫星电视广播协会(CASBAA)拥有120个成员机构，其中包括业内主要的有线电视运营商、DTH（卫星直播）卫星系统运营商和遍及亚洲至全球的跨国网络和节目制作商。此外，其成员公司还包括各大有线和卫星技术提供商和制造商、相关业务的服务提供商、通信、广告和市场营销管理人、媒体、政府监管部门、电信公司、新型媒体服务提供商和网络化供应商。亚洲有线及卫星广播协会(CASBAA)会员机构包括HBO亚洲、探索亚洲有限公司、荷兰银行、MTV网络亚太公司、星空传媒、特纳国际亚太有限公司、亚洲首席体育电视网、美国映佳传播公司、中天传播集团、索尼国际图形电视公司、华特迪士尼国际电视、IBM、亚洲卫星有限公司、PanAmSat、摩根士丹利和普华永道会计师事务所等。
亚洲有线及卫星电视广播协会(CASBAA)最为重要的任务之一就是促进自由发展、公平竞争的市场体系的形成，加强知识产权保护，及促进区内通信产业的有序竞争、繁荣发展。
本协会还致力于开发最佳的监管方案，以保证国内外多频道电视和通讯行业各方参与者利益。
亚洲有线及卫星电视广播协会(CASBAA)倡导一系列的活动，包括加强版权保护、推广有线和卫星电视，使其成为主要广告媒体、游说工作、推广地区技术标准、举行监管部门的圆桌会议、以及举办各种研讨会、介绍传统电子媒体，电信公司和新经济参与者。
这些利益涉及到14个地域市场中1亿9千五百万的付费电视用户。这些用户的分布从中国到澳大利亚、从日本到巴基斯坦的广大地区。
亚洲有线与卫星电视广播协会(CASBAA)由理事会领导。理事会由非选举产生的理事以及通过多数票选举产生的理事组成，其中非选举产生的理事为协会的赞助会员公司代表。主席（任期2年）和董事会由理事会所有成员共同推举。董事会与行政总裁直接负责管理亚洲有线与卫星电视广播协会。协会的日常管理工作由执行办公室负责，并监督及管理协会成员和委员会的各项活动。

The Cable & Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) is an industry-based advocacy group dedicated to the promotion of multi-channel television via cable, satellite, broadband and wireless video networks across the Asia Pacific.
The 120-member organizations include leading cable operators, DTH satellite system and broadband operators as well as multinational networks and programmers in Asia and worldwide. Member corporations also comprise leading suppliers and manufacturers of cable and satellite technology, related business service providers, communications, advertising & marketing executives, media, government regulatory bodies, telecom companies, new media service providers, and network enablers. Members include HBO Asia, Discovery Networks Asia, ABN AMRO, AETN International, MTV Networks Asia, STAR Group, Turner International Asia Pacific, ASTRO, Bloomberg, EMC, Galaxy, now Broadband TV, UBC (Thailand), ESPN STAR Sports, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Walt Disney Television International, as well as IBM, Nokia, Sun Microsystems, AsiaSat, PanAmSat, Morgan Stanley and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Among the highest priorities for CASBAA are the promotion of free and fair markets and the protection of intellectual property rights, as well as the development of thriving and competitive domestic communications industries.
The Association is also dedicated to the development of regulatory best practices which assist the interests of both domestic and international participants within the multi-channel and communication communities.
CASBAA undertakes a number of initiatives including the pursuit of copyright enforcement, promotion of cable and satellite as a key advertising medium, lobbying activities, the promotion of regional technical standards, regulatory roundtables, and educational seminars to the business environment for traditional electronic media, telecom companies and new economy players.
These interests cover 14 geographic markets and 195 million pay-TV subscribers falling under a footprint which runs from China to Australasia, Japan to Pakistan.
CASBAA is led by a Council of Governors. This council is composed of non-elected governors who are representatives of Patron member companies, and elected governors who hold the majority of votes by one seat. These members elect a Chairman (for a two-year term), and a Board of Directors, which is directly responsible for the management of CASBAA in concert with its CEO. CASBAA is then managed day-to-day by the Executive Office, which oversees and manages the association membership and committee activities.
