Six-party talks joint document released

A joint document of the six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue was released in Beijing on Wednesday. Head of the Chinese delegation to the talks, Wu Dawei announced the document after a two-day recess.
The DPRK agreed to disable all its existing nuclear facilities by the end of this year and to provide a complete and correct declaration of all its nuclear programs. The DPRK reaffirmed its commitment not to transfer nuclear materials, technology or know-how.
The DPRK and the United States remain committed to improving bilateral relations and moving towards a full diplomatic relationship.
The DPRK and Japan will make sincere efforts to normalize their relations. Economic, energy and humanitarian assistance up to the equivalent of 1 million tons of Heavy Fuel Oil will be provided to the DPRK.
