U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Christopher Hill, says a team of U.S. experts is heading to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. They will help prepare the DPRK to disable a key nuclear complex.

Hill told reporters he will meet DPRK negotiator, Kim Kye-gwan, to discuss the disarmament steps agreed on earlier this month.

This will be the second visit to the DPRK by U.S. nuclear experts this month, as Washington pushes Pyongyang to follow through on a deal to take major disarmament steps in the next 60 days. Hill said he and Chinese officials would set a date for a ministerial meeting at the end of the year, when the DPRK is scheduled to complete its disarmament.

Christopher Hill said, "We have an understanding on what needs to be done, so there are just some issues subject to technical matters. We are not in that situation where we want to do more and they want to do less, I think we are beyond that."
